Born and raised in Edinburgh, she now lives in Glasgow. Her native accent is neutral, warm and authoritative. She has a good ear for accents and can vary tone and style according to the brief. She trained as an actor at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London and is a regular contributor and broadcaster on BBC Radio Scotland, Four and Two, used to responding to direction and editorial input. She is also an experienced podcast host and producer of audio dramas.
