Born in 1956, he grew up in Helensburgh and studied Accountancy after leaving school. He took a change in career and became the Regional Operations Manager at Yellow Pages for 27 years and it was here that he began presenting at numerous corporate events. He has experience in reading for the blind and was the voiceover for the West End Murder Mystery. He is the current voiceover for the Greater Glasgow & Clyde Health Board’s Smoking Cessation Training Programme and their Headlice Training Programme, as well as the voice for one of their telephone answering services.
He has a relaxed down-to- earth delivery with a neutral west coast accent which is easily understood, although can perform broad Glaswegian and Glasgow “ned”. Suited for narration, corporate training, events, announcements, advertisements and more.
